About
No reason to really fill you in on who I am. It just doesn’t matter. If you must know a few vitals, I was born in the late Seventies, graduated UCLA with a bachelor’s in Physics minoring in Philosophy, eldest son of three to an alcoholic father, and I currently live in Los Angeles.
This web site has been around since I began blogging (it wasn’t called that back then) in April 2001. Since then, as should be apparent in the archives, much of my writing has dropped off sharply. With this coming election and the current situation in the worlds’ economies, energy, and environment, I have felt a strong need to get my thoughts out into the great void of the web once again. I don’t do it so much for you since there is no two-way communication most of the time; rather, this is almost entirely for the hell of it (the public display, that is) and for me to work through the ideas bouncing around in my brain. Okay, okay…I do miss you guys some (where you at Cheeba?).
Stick around. Join in. Perhaps this place can turn into something it has never been in the past. The web has grown up a lot since I began. If you are here for the first time, check out the categories and archives. I have written probably more than you are interested in sitting down and reading but there is some good stuff in there that even I have forgotten about.
Since it is my damn site, check out my photography site: Cobalt Star.com
Peace.
Mark
